HEATING INSTRUCTIONS

Below are the heating instructions for each different type of Inspirational Heat Bag. Please make sure you use our heat bags according to our recommendations. 

COLD PACK
IHB’s bags can be used as a cold pack as well as a heat pack. Simply place the bag in a sealed plastic bag and store it in your freezer. Cold packs can be extremely beneficial following an injury. Check with your medical practitioner or pharmacist how best to use the bag to treat your injury.

Check the wattage of your microwave.  Generally located on the back.

LARGE: FOLD the bag in half, lengthways.  Roll the bag into a ball, place in the centre of the carousel, with the open end facing down.

TRAPEZOID: FOLD the bag into thirds, place in the centre of the carousel, with the open end facing down.

This will prevent the bag getting caught as it turns, reducing the risk of burns and hot spots.

800 watt microwaves, the suggested heating time is two and a half (2 1/2) minutes.

1,000 watt microwaves, the suggested heating time is two (2) minutes.

Use care when removing the heat bag from the microwave, Inspirational Heat Bags suggests avoiding direct contact of heat bag to the skin.  Use of a cover or towel is recommended. 

We do not recommend the addition of oils or fragrances to the heat bag.  Doing so may increase the risk of allergy or fire.

Place on the area of pain or discomfort and feel the pain disappear

Check the wattage of your microwave.  Generally located on the back.

Fold the bag into thirds. Begin at the outside edge and fold to the centre, repeat on the opposite side.  Roll the heat bag into a ball with the open end facing down onto the carousel.  Then place the heat bag in the centre of the carousel.

This will stop the bag getting caught as it turns, preventing burning and hot spots.

800 watt microwaves, the suggested heating time is three (3) minutes.

1,000 watt microwaves, the suggested heating time is two (2) minutes.

Use care when removing the heat bag from the microwave.  Inspirational Heat Bags suggests avoiding direct contact of heat bag to the skin.  Use of a cover or towel is recommended.

1,000 watt microwaves, the suggested heating time is one (1) minute.

LONG RECTANGLE BAG: Roll the bag into a ball and place it in the centre of the carousel with the open end facing downwards.

SQUARE BAG: Fold the bag in half, then place it in the centre of the carousel.

This will prevent the bag getting caught as it turns, reducing the risk of burning and hot spots.

800 watt microwaves, the suggested heating time is one and a half (1 1/2) minutes.

1,000 watt microwaves, the suggested heating time is one (1) minute.
