WHAT IS A WHEAT BAG AND HOW DO THEY WORK?

A wheat bag is a natural pain reliever.  Generally made from fabric and filled with wheat.  The shape and sizes can vary – which allows for relief in various areas of the body.  A wheat bag is heated in a microwave and then placed directly over the area of discomfort.  The warmth and weight can temporarily provide relief for a range of pains and discomforts.

 

HOW AND WHERE ARE YOUR HEATBAGS MADE?

Our wheat bags have been designed and manufactured in Brisbane, Queensland.  Our design uses ‘pockets’ to ensure even distribution of weight and heat, avoiding the wheat dropping to the bottom of the bag and ensuring your comfort.  IHB Wheat bags are made using a corduroy fabric in a variety of colours and are available in different sizes.  We source our food grade quality wheat from outback Queensland, this means we can know that our wheat is cultivated naturally with love and care.

 

HOW DO I HEAT THE WHEAT BAGS?

First - please read the instructions that were packaged with your heat bag. You can also view and download the instructions here. Our heat bags are microwave heated (instructions come with each bag giving suggested heating times and other information) and provide natural relief from pain. Our bags can be used as a cold pack by placing them in a sealed plastic bag and popping them into your freezer. 

No responsibility is accepted by us for over-heating or freezing your bag incorrectly.

 

WHAT DO I DO IF I OVERHEAT MY HEATBAG?

If you are unfortunate enough to have made a mistake and overheated your bag.  

PLEASE WAIT FOR IT TO COOL COMPLETELY BEFORE RE-HEATING.

 

CAN I WASH THE HEATBAG?

No – this will ruin your wheat bag

 

DO YOU USE LAVENDER?

No. Due to allergies, intolerances and fire risk.

 

WHAT IS YOUR WARRANTY?

Replacement/refund is given for manufacturing fault, within 3 months. Proof of purchase will be required.  Our warranty does not cover damage caused by poor care or overheating.

 

CAN I GET A REFUND?

Refunds only given for manufacturing defects.  Proof of purchase is required.  No refunds given for change of mind.
