Eagles Wings Success Stories: First Edition

One of the fantastic charities we support, Eagles Wings, organise CHALLANGE 4 CHANGE events and recently held the Fraser Island Great Walk Challenge!

They walked 15 - 20 km daily along the Fraser coastline and inland tracks to raise money and awareness of the extreme poverty in Zambia and help bring change to the lives of those who currently live within these dehumanising conditions.

We would like to share some of the wonderful Eagles Wings success stories.

This is Bornface’s story

I completed my secondary education at Eagles Wings school in 2015 and was sponsored by Eagles Wings to pursue a Diploma in Nursing.

I was awarded as a best student at the university because the support I received meant I did not have to work part-time and I could focus on my studies.

The sponsorship I acquired has contributed a lot in my life. Without this sponsorship, my life would have been languishing in poverty and suffering situations.

Previously I and my family were not able to manage to have two or three meals per day. We were not able to afford the upkeeps. But because of this sponsorship currently we are able to manage much better. This sponsorship has broken the yoke of poverty, alleviated suffering and increased the hope of better tomorrow.
